Toledo Bend Recreation Site is the answer to all looking for fun in the sun. Just 45 miles northwest of Fort Polk, the site is located on the largest man made reservoir in the South and fifth largest in the country.
Toledo Bend has cabins and Yurts available for rent. The cabins can be a refreshing discovery to enjoy as you boat by them on the banks of the lake. Sleeping up to five people, these cozy cabins have central air, ceiling fans, full baths and a fully equiped kitchen. Recreational vehicle and camping spots are available too! All you have to bring are towels and bedding! Or you can go for the unique and experience a night in the yurts nestled in our woods.

Boaters Safety Course
Successful completion of the online boater's safety course is required to operate Toledo Bend Recreation Site's motorized watercrafts. You may complete the course at Toledo Bend, or you may complete it prior to your visit. The course is availble online through this link. However, you must bring proof of succesful completion (a printed certificate) if you choose to take the course off-site. Once you successfully complete the "written" test you must pass a hands-on driving test before you can let loose on the lake.
Toledo Bend's Boat Storage
No matter the weather, you have to admit that readying for your adventure under a shelter from the elements and a light from the darkness makes boating a greater joy. Our boat storage facility is complete with florescent lights and outlet plugs, and there are no irritating delays in getting your boat launched. Our dry storage facility price is $30 per month, or $300 per year. Don't forget that 24 hour access to your boat is also an added benefit of Toledo Bend's boat storage facility.
